Fishing in Kulekhani, Markhu is one of the best thing you can do if you’re into fishing and enjoy it. Kulekhani (Indra sarobar) is the largest man made lake built to collect and reserve water from many nearby streams and use it for hydro-electricity generation. The lake hence reserves a large volume of water around the year making it a good home for fishes.
You can find many fish farming done in the lake which / where you’re not allowed to do fishing. However you’re allowed to hire a fishing rod on an hourly basis or for a full day and enjoy your fishing in some specific zone of the lake.
